Corgan is actively recruiting several VFX Artists to join the firm as part of our MediaLab team in our Singapore office. Are you a talented and passionate VFX Artist with a keen eye for architectural visualization? ABOUT US

We are the MediaLab, a leading VFX studio pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling for an international architectural firm, Corgan.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience as a VFX Artist or a recent graduate with an exceptionally strong portfolio.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your artistic vision and technical skills in architectural visualization. Your work should demonstrate a solid understanding of lighting, composition, and materials.
  • Foundational knowledge of Production Environment software (e.g., Autodesk 3ds Max, Blender), real-time engines (e.g., Epic Unreal, Enscape 3D, Unity), and post-production tools (e.g., Foundry Nuke, Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Photo, Adobe Substance 3D/Painter/Designer).
  • We are looking for generalists, with knowledge across the full VFX pipeline including modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and compositing.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
  • Experience with AI-driven visual tools is a plus, particularly with a focus on workflows like Comfy UI for generating assets, textures, or concepts to enhance the creative process.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • While not required, any knowledge of (e.g., Autodesk 3DS Max, Foundry Nuke, Adobe Suite, Affinity Suite, Unreal Engine, Enscape 3D, Unity, D5 Render) Working knowledge of Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Autodesk Revit and Trimble SketchUp is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a VFX Artist on our team, you’ll work closely with senior artists and VFX Art Directors to create stunning visual effects for architectural and design projects. You will contribute to a wide range of media, including still images, animations, and interactive experiences. This is a hands-on role where you will be an integral part of the production process from start to finish.
This position is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to build their skills, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to high-profile projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality visual effects assets for architectural visualizations, including modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
  • Work with a variety of software to produce still images, animations, and interactive experiences.
  • Collaborate with the art direction team to ensure visual consistency and artistic quality across all projects.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions under the guidance of senior artists.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve your skills.

To foster stronger coordination between the American and European offices, the regular working hours for this role will be 2pm to 11pm Mondays to Fridays.
