We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, 1LoD Risk Controls Specialist to join our Payments Enablement team. This role is located in New York, NY.  In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:  * Deliver high-quality RCSA execution, including risk identification, control mapping, assessment, and documentation * Provide coordination and execution of issue management, ORE management, new product approvals, business process change, and control telemetry for the Platform, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and leading optimization efforts * Monitor and report the status of 1RC program deliverables, proactively identifying and solutioning for challenges/blockers, and analyze trends and repeat issues identified; integrating outcomes into reporting * Identify, challenge, and escalate asks and initiatives that go beyond the scope of 1RC program responsibilities * Champion the root cause, remediation and reporting of key incidents, issues management, controls assessments, issues as relevant to the Platform  To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:  * 5-10 Years of total work experience preferred. * Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks, including RCSA, EBCA, and RCAT. * Experience in issue management, root cause analysis, ORE management, and scenario analytics. * Understanding of control design, control mapping, and control testing. * Ability to interpret KRI and telemetry data effectively. * Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities. * Effective risk communication skills. * Professional skepticism and ability to provide credible challenge. * Ability to collaborate across 1LoD, 2LoD, and 3LoD teams. * Demonstrated ownership and proactive escalation mindset. * Adaptability in evolving risk environments.   At BNY, our culture allows us to run our company better and enables employees’ growth and success.
