JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

GE HealthCare is undergoing a seismic transformation, building on its legacy as a trusted medical equipment manufacturer with the introduction of innovative software solutions designed to help solve some of the biggest challenges in the healthcare industry. The role is global and cross-functional in nature as GE HealthCare formally launches and scales an increasingly diverse range of cloud-based and AI-powered Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products for our health system customers. The Vice President, AI Product Marketing, will lead the go-to-market strategy for our AI-powered SaaS products, including product value propositions, product differentiation, market segmentation, targeting, product branding, product launches, and core messaging. This leader will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional marketing colleagues to develop and execute marketing strategies that highlight GE HealthCare’s AI innovation and show how they drive value for customers. Additionally, this leader will be responsible for developing, hiring, and leading a team of cloud, AI, and SaaS product marketing experts. The successful candidate will combine deep cloud, AI, and SaaS expertise with proven marketing leadership and healthcare industry experience. This senior role will play a crucial role in driving GE HealthCare’s ambition of becoming a technology leader in the healthcare industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in product or solution marketing for cloud-first, enterprise Software-as-a-Service, with a focus on AI-powered products. Experience in healthcare marketing preferred.
  • Proven track record of creating successful, data-driven marketing programs and impactful marketing content.
  • Experience with software go-to-market strategies.
  • Elite written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong and confident in speaking/presenting at conferences and customer engagements.
  • Excellent cross-departmental communication skills, with a proven track record of managing complex, nuanced, and highly regulated products.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the company’s go-to-market strategy commercial activation process for new AI and SaaS products, with a strong focus on increasing awareness, demand, and product adoption.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to identify key audiences, understand user needs, and inform marketing, business, and product roadmaps
  • Create consumer-oriented marketing collateral, including case studies, testimonials, infographics, and videos, tailored to specific market needs.
  • Set, monitor, and drive key marketing metrics and analytics to track the effectiveness of marketing programs and initiatives that align to business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders, academic end-users, and customers to reflect their voice and ensuring their needs drive our product development and marketing efforts.
  • Advise leadership on product roadmap, business case, value proposition, and market fit.
  • Establish strategic partnerships to help inform and enhance our offerings.
  • Build strong and collaborative partnerships with product, engineering, and communications teams to deliver high-impact announcements and product content.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop product roadmaps in collaboration with the product team.
  • Mentor and lead a team of high-performing marketing professionals, providing guidance and direction to drive results.
  • Drive marketing excellence through knowledge sharing, process standardization, and capability building across GE HealthCare for the betterment of all our software offerings.
