Position Summary Cenergistic is seeking a strategic and operationally minded leader to oversee the company’s Analytics & Business Intelligence function. This individual will play a critical role in helping transform Cenergistic into a more data-driven, AI-enabled organization by connecting analytics, operations, finance, measurement and verification, and technology into a unified decision-making framework. This role is not limited to traditional business intelligence and reporting. We are seeking a leader who understands how AI, analytics, and operational data can be leveraged to improve organizational performance, support forecasting and pricing strategy, strengthen client delivery, and create scalable operational systems across a growing services business. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical and analytical capabilities with executive-level business acumen and the ability to translate complex operational and financial data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership * Define and execute the enterprise analytics and business intelligence strategy aligned with Cenergistic’s operational and financial objectives * Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on data-driven decision-making, forecasting, operational performance, and AI utilization * Help drive Cenergistic’s evolution toward a more scalable, systems-driven, and AI-enabled organization * Develop long-term analytics capabilities supporting operations, finance, M&V, pricing strategy, sales, and client performance Analytics, AI & Business Intelligence * Oversee development of dashboards, reporting, KPIs, and advanced analytics capabilities * Lead the integration of AI tools and methodologies into operational and analytical workflows * Translate complex operational, financial, and performance data into clear business insights * Improve forecasting, pricing analytics, operational visibility, and performance measurement across the organization * Support development of predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities M&V, Operations & Financial Analytics * Help oversee and modernize the company’s Measurement & Verification (M&V) capabilities * Partner with operations leadership to improve data quality, accountability, and operational visibility * Work closely with finance leadership on forecasting, margin analysis, pricing models, and business performance analytics * Develop systems and reporting structures that connect operational execution with financial outcomes Data Infrastructure & Governance * Partner with technology and engineering teams to improve data architecture, accessibility, and scalability * Establish governance standards around data integrity, quality, security, and reporting consistency * Improve the organization’s ability to operationalize and leverage enterprise data assets Team Leadership * Build and lead a high-performing analytics and BI function * Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, execution, and continuous improvement * Recruit, mentor, and retain top analytical and technical talent Cross-Functional Partnership * Collaborate across operations, finance, technology, sales, engineering, and client delivery teams * Embed analytics into core operational and strategic decision-making processes * Support enterprise initiatives focused on growth, scalability, operational efficiency, and client outcomes Qualifications Experience * 7 - 10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, operational analytics, finance analytics, or data science * Proven leadership experience building and managing analytical teams and enterprise reporting structures * Strong track record of translating analytics into measurable business outcomes * Experience within energy management, facilities operations, engineering services, healthcare, higher education, or operationally complex service businesses preferred * Experience leveraging AI tools and AI-enabled workflows strongly preferred Skills * Strong understanding of business intelligence platforms, data ecosystems, and enterprise analytics * Familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts, predictive analytics, and operational analytics frameworks * Exceptional ability to communicate analytical insights to executive and operational audiences * Strong operational and financial business acumen * Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution Leadership & Mindset * Strategic thinker with strong executive presence * Highly collaborative and operationally minded * Results-oriented with a bias toward action and accountability * Passion for building scalable, data-driven organizations Education * Bachelor’s degree in a business or analytical discipline required * MBA, MS, or other advanced degree preferred Success Metrics * Increased adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization * Improved forecasting accuracy and operational visibility * Measurable ROI from analytics and AI initiatives * Advancement of M&V and operational reporting capabilities * Improved data quality, governance, and scalability * Development of scalable systems supporting company growth * Strong team performance, collaboration, and retention
