Position Overview: TDAM and TD Epoch provide investors in Canada, the United States and around the world with a full suite of equity solutions that covers the spectrum of styles, regions and capitalization. Client Portfolio Managers serve as investment team members dedicated to the needs of clients. The Lead of Equity Client Portfolio Management is a senior leadership role that serves as the voice of TDAM’s equity platform and encompasses both internal and external responsibilities. Reporting to the Head of Client Portfolio Management, the position serves as a central source of knowledge and expertise for the range of equity strategies across TDAM and TD Epoch. The position will be critical in establishing and executing initiatives that support franchise growth and client service excellence.
The role acts as a critical link between portfolio management, distribution, legal and compliance, risk, and marketing teams. Successful candidates will require exceptional listening skills and the ability to comprehend the needs of the distribution teams on behalf of their clients. This role requires profound knowledge of global equity markets, including the risks and drivers affecting global equity returns, a deep understanding of various investment models, and the investment needs of a broad spectrum of investors and distribution channels, including retail and institutional. Attention to detail, a passion for developing colleagues and strong organizational skills are essential.
