Responsibilities Position Purpose: Seeking an experienced Commodity Sales professional to introduce new Commodity Futures and OTC business to a leading and fast growing risk management business in the APAC region. The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to build a book of customers, offering additional incentives. Candidates with an existing book of business at a commodity risk management firm in the Asia region will be highly regarded. Job performance will be based solely on sales and new business introduced to the company. Primary duties will include: Identify new clients to onboard and build a profitable book of business. Represent the business at trade conferences, seminars and symposiums with a view to sell. Familiarize and introduce company products to a new client base. Educate new and existing customers on commodities trading and risk management – both futures and OTC. Assist with internal procedures relating to the onboarding of new clients. Respond and provide proper follow-up to all incoming inquiries from the corporate web-site and other marketing programs. Establish and maintain professional relationships with commodity industry experts. Subsidized educational support will be provided to the successful candidate where necessary. Identify, verify, analyze and provide support to the oversight for trading risks acting as a key link between trading staff, management and risk management. Ensure all material market risks are captured and considered. Ensure appropriate documentation and records are maintained for audit purposes. Maintain prompt and regular attendance. Qualifications To land this role you will need: Candidates with futures and OTC trade execution experience will be highly regarded. Language skills highly regarded, but not a necessity.
