We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our APAC Institutional Lending team. This role is located in Singapore. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Responsible for assisting with the origination and structuring, underwriting, documentation, and monitoring of large, moderately complex credit facilities / transactions. Responsible for monitoring existing credit portfolios, including periodic counterparty and loan reviews, internal borrower ratings, among others. Works closely with relationship leads to understand and assess clients' credit needs. In the process, helps generate new business opportunities for the bank such as new loans, revolving credit lines, letters of credit, among others. Prepares credit proposals, presents to credit committee, and provides guidance to relationship managers on credit opportunities. Addresses inquiries from borrowers and arrangers as part of the transaction process. Provides guidance to less experienced team members as needed. No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of the Institutional Lending team's objectives. Supports transactions through their lifecycle from origination and execution to portfolio monitoring and management. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. MBA or equivalent a plus. Minimum 7-10 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in institutional lending, knowledge of lending products, experience with credit or financial and risk analysis preferred. Team player with strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to influence business partners and stakeholders. Ability to adapt and be proactive. Able to quickly absorb and follow credit policies and procedures.
