POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an exceptional Vice president, Business Consulting – IT Strategy & Transformation to lead strategic client engagement and growth with Québec’s top private and public sector organizations. This highly senior role requires a leader with the credibility, executive presence, and a proven consulting track record to engage confidently with Presidents, CEOs, and Boards, translating complex Business and IT transformation needs into actionable, strategic roadmaps.
Leveraging your established executive relationships and industry reputation you will shape long term strategic partnerships lead multi-year consulting engagements, and build and lead your own high-performing, cross-functional teams. You will deliver measurable value in areas such as operational excellence, value chain optimization, digital transformation, IT modernization, cloud strategy, and data/AI-driven decision making.
This is a rare and high-impact opportunity for a seasoned consulting leader to build and grow their own practice, lead a dynamic team, and drive meaningful transformation across industries, including banking, financial services, manufacturing, energy, retail and more.

Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leverage your experience and reputation to build instant credibility with executive stakeholders and become a trusted strategic advisor
  • Initiate and lead executive-level discussion with C-suite clients, including Presidents and Boards, to uncover transformation opportunities in Business and IT strategy, digital enablement and operational excellence.
  • Establish and grow strategic accounts by identifying client priorities and crafting tailored consulting solutions Guide the full engagement lifecycle—from ideation and proposals development to delivery oversight and long-term client success.
  • Design and lead high-impact consulting engagements in areas such as Business and IT strategy, cost optimization, digital transformation, operational efficiency and change management.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase market share and revenue across priority industries.
  • Represent CGI in industry forums and thought leadership events, to enhance the firms visibility and reputation in the business consulting space.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • 15+ years of experience in Business/IT consulting, with at least 5+ years in an executive leadership role.
  • Existing network and relationships with C-level executives in Quebec with a proven ability to grow multimillion-dollar accounts.
  • Demonstrated alignment with CGI s core values — financial strength, partnership and quality, objectivity and integrity, respect, intrapreneurship, and corporate social responsibility.
