Description

Firm is looking for a Vice President Business Development, Custom Solutions . The Custom Solutions product line is a unique blend of firm research, data, thought leadership and intelligence that is tailor made and created for specific sets of customers. It is a unique product line that provides an interaction between firm and its customers that leads towards tangible outcomes both internally and externally.
This role is the for the individual responsible for selling ours custom research products to Asia Pacific based clients, who will also be responsible for the annual financial performance, sales target achievement, staff management and development, and long term planning of the Asia Pacific Custom Research Group.
In this sales leadership role, with a product business development specialization, you will report
directly to the Global Business Development head for Custom Solutions.
The Custom Sales position is one that works across the board and has the ability to design, define, craft or develop larger multi-product campaigns that lead towards longer-term engagements with customers

This role is based in our Singapore office and is 100% on-site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent
  • 15 Years’ sales and team management experience
  • Adaptable, problem solver, team manager, strategic thinker and sales manager
  • On-site - some travel may be required
Responsibilities
  • Work with sales leaders and colleagues globally and will be responsible for learning and articulating the value proposition firm Custom Solutions brings to our key and developing clients.
  • Expected to be a key proponent for strategies leading to the growth of the Custom Solutions business in Asia Pacific.
  • Focus on sales for Custom Solutions products, as this is a quota bearing position that entails work both through the phone and face-to-face presentations. It will also entail all attributes of the sales cycle – from prospecting, needs assessment, proposal, and closing, to account management.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following four areas of Sales Management, Client Management, Team Management and Business Development
