YOUR CAREER OPPORTUNITY:   BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, VICE PRESIDENT  This role is a key member of the Business Development Team assigned to the Critical Mission Support Services (CMSS) business unit and is responsible for managing and directing the development and sales efforts by having a strong network across CONUS, OCONUS, military, other US federal agencies or commercial businesses.  This role will source, plan, organize, and execute on sales to meet the strategic goals of the organization. This role is directly responsible for sourcing new and expanding current contracting opportunities through a well nurtured network of business relationships to meet sales contract goals.  This is a remote position.   THE BEST FIT As the best fit candidate, you will embody the Mission and Values of S&K and bring a strong combination of business ethics, integrity, sales expertise, and relationship development to your work. You must be able to demonstrate your strong network of contacts and provide examples of your sales success in order to be considered for this role.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related educational field is required.  MBA is preferred. * A minimum of  fifteen (15) years of marketing or sales operational experience with at least five (5) of those years in direct government contracting experience.   * If you have experience with 8(a) or IDIQ contracts, that would be the best! * Use of MS Office including WORD, PPT, Teams and Excel at the advanced level is preferred. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives within identified deadlines. * Strong presentation skills are required as is ability to interact at a level of proficiency in the English language. * Ability to travel as needed for business meetings, conferences, customer contact, etc. is required.
