JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze complex business issues and develop effective and sustainable solutions.

  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of coaching and mentoring employees, with a proven strength in empowering individuals and teams to elevate their levels of accountability, quality, and performance.
  • Experience and understanding of values-based leadership and what it takes to creating a values-driven organizational culture.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Business Administration Degree, or MBA, or a master’s degree in a related discipline; and
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience overseeing various corporate functions such as finance, IT, marketing, communications, business development and human resources management.
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

The Vice President, Business Services is a key member of the Executive Team and is accountable for the business and support services that enable EQUS to thrive. This role oversees strategic planning and execution, aligning the Business Services Group with EQUS’ overarching mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. The Vice President, Business Services ensures that EQUS is continually improving, adopting industry-leading best practices, and delivering results through high-quality service.

DUTIES

  • Consistently apply Values-Based Leadership within the organization to increase employee engagement and build a healthy organizational culture.
  • Participate with other members of the Executive Team to develop the strategies and plans to create and maintain a highly effective organization that meets the expectations of employees, members, prospective members, and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for development and oversight of annual budgets for the Business Services teams, and ensuring that all resources (staff, systems, equipment, and financial resources) are managed prudently and are deployed in a manner that provides the greatest return on investment.
  • Develop the Business Services teams to deliver comprehensive support and services for effective EQUS operations.
