Description

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago partners with mission-driven people and organizations across Cook and Lake counties to witness a message of mercy and hope to a world in need by improving lives, nourishing spirits; strengthening and empowering people, families, and communities; and committing to being present to our times through the eyes of faith.
Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the Vice President-Community Programs supports and empowers a team of six direct reports and a full team of approximately 65 people charged with building a community, offering companionship, and providing nourishment for all who walk through our doors - being present to our neighbors in need and offering food, clothing, and case management. Total budget responsibility is approximately $10MM, and the Vice President oversees volunteer operations within Community Programs for up to 10,000 volunteers annually.
