Location: Bedford, Ellettsville, or Jasper (candidate may choose one of these locations as base of operations.) Hybrid eligible - must be willing to work onsite at least 3 days per week with the expectation that one of the days will be at our headquarters in Bedford.

Responsibilities
  • Mission and Service: Ensure compliance programs align with Hoosier Hills Credit Union’s mission and Service Promises while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
  • Develop Compliance Programs: Oversee the development, coordination, and implementation of the Credit Union’s compliance management system.
  • Policy Management: Ensure that compliance policies are in place, regularly reviewed, and updated as necessary.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Stay up-to-date with changes in banking laws and regulatory trends, ensuring the organization is always in compliance.
  • Staff Training: Collaborate with the Training Department to develop and deliver compliance education to staff members.
  • Problem Resolution: Act as a trusted resource for regulatory inquiries and resolve compliance-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Report to the Board: Prepare and present regular compliance reports to the Board of Directors.
  • Monitor Complaints and Filings: Manage the Member Complaint Program and oversee HMDA and 1071 Small Business Filing processes.
  • Support Corporate Planning: Participate in strategic discussions regarding long-term planning, advising on the regulatory impacts of key decisions.
