We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Control to join our Custody Client Platform team. This role will focus predominantly on Asset Safety and is located in Pune, India. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: • Support the wider team and management with regulatory oversight and compliance, focusing on Asset Safety regulatory deliverables. • Conduct comprehensive analyses of regulatory requirements, ensuring all processes align with current laws and regulations. • Lead the development and implementation of regulatory oversight strategies by demonstrating expertise in compliance and control mechanisms. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the regulatory framework, ensuring effective oversight and control measures are in place. • Monitor and report on regulatory changes, advising management on potential impacts and necessary adjustments. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the regulatory oversight function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Escalate significant control deficiencies or emerging risks to the Platform Control Lead and senior stakeholders and drive timely remediation. • Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing control health, trends, and improvement initiatives. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: • 7+ years of work experience required. Compliance or Control experience preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced certifications in compliance or risk management (e.g., CRCM, CAMS) are advantageous. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and address issues effectively. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate and influence stakeholders across the organization.
