We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Control I to join our Global Clearing Platform Business team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Identify, analyze, monitor, and minimize the most complex areas of control testing, control and risk education, and operational and risk support activities to the business. Lead projects and analyses to adjust or create controls required to meet regulatory and corporate expectations, including control and risk management testing and reporting such as Error / Near Miss analyses. Ensure existing control and business recovery practices and procedures are documented and work with the business to understand controls currently in place to minimize risk. Assist in analyzing technology and market trends to determine potential risks to the organization and develop processes to improve defenses and controls. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred. Proven ability to lead multiple, complex projects and manage project timelines effectively. May supervise the work of junior control professionals.
