We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Control Team to join our Corporate Trust Hub (supporting the Conventional Trust Platform) team. This role is located in Houston, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Leverage the Platform control inventory (RCSA), ensuring it aligns with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices; amend controls as required off the back of operating risk events Partner with Conventional Trust Leadership Team consisting of Product Managers, Engineering, Operations and Corporate partners to ensure Pod development work aligns with our Risk and Control Framework Collaborate with product, operations, and application development staff to drive the automation of manual business specific controls and identify opportunities for automated control monitoring Monitor and analyze the portfolio of platform specific control issues (including technology issues), escalating areas of risk to the first Line of Defense (LOD) Control Lead as appropriate within the portfolio of platform specific technology control issues Lead root-cause analyses for control failures or near-misses and develop and execute action plans that permanently remediate issues Assess risks and controls associated with changes to existing products and applications and development of new products and applications to determine the way forward Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing control health, trends, and improvement initiatives To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: 7+ years of work experience required. Corp Trust/Control/Engineering experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
