Description LOCATION: Ambler Headquarters RESPONSIBILITIES: Ambler Savings Bank seeks an experienced Credit Administration Director (“CAD”) responsible for developing, modernizing, and implementing commercial credit policies and procedures in conformity with best industry practices. The CAD will work with the Bank’s commercial lending team to structure complex deals and meet customer expectations. The CAD will serve as the primary quality control point for underwriting and documenting all commercial loans supervising two experienced credit analysts and a documentation specialist. The CAD will Chair the Bank’s Loan Committee and serve on the Bank’s Asset Liability Committee and Allowance for Loan Losses Committee. The CAD will supervise the Bank’s consumer and commercial loan servicing function, managing an experienced department manager. Requirements SKILLS: The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and expertise in underwriting and managing the following types of commercial loans: Owner occupied and non-owner occupied commercial real estate (CRE) Multifamily real estate Investor-owned residential real estate Development and construction Commercial & industrial leveraging non real estate collateral 504, 7A, and Express SBA programs Municipal revenue and general obligation The Credit Administration Director should have familiarity with the following: Complicated ownership structures involving multiple guarantors, trusts, LLCs, partnerships Back-to-back interest rate swap derivates Complex global cashflows derived from multiple sources Digital underwriting tools to spread and analyze financial data, Sageworks preferred The Credit Administration Director will also have the following skills: craft credit memorandums with clear and concise conclusions; proficient English reading, writing, grammar skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; ability to analyze and interpret financial statements; working knowledge of current banking and lending regulations; general knowledge of features/benefits of loan products and services; demonstrate management and supervisory skills; strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; visual and auditory skills; detail oriented, strong organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy. Proven ability to utilize artificial intelligence to automate and/or streamline mundane tasks. EDUCATION / TRAINING: B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; specialized loan and banking education/training.
