We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VP, Data Governance to join our BNY Payments Enablement team. This role is located in New York, NY. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: * Partner with stakeholders in Product, Operations and Enterprise Data Management to advance the maturity of Payments data management framework. * Help establish enterprise and business level data principles, standards and guidelines on behalf of Payments Enablement. * Represent Payments Enablement in enterprise-wide data initiatives. * Develop an understanding of key data attributes required by Payment Enablement products and business processes. Implement processes and controls to improve quality and usability. * Review, recommend and execute best practices to drive continuous data management improvements. * Serve as a resource for data governance related questions and guide resolutions. * Work collaboratively with the business and technology teams to conduct analysis and produce detailed project artifacts including requirements documents, data roadmaps and other analysis documentation. * Support the evolution, execution and connectivity of data governance tools and technologies to support data governance initiatives. * Regularly assess and refine data governance processes and policies in line with the industry best practice, to promote continuous improvement. * Demonstrate management expertise and exercise influence to identify, evaluate and recommend potential objectives to support the delivery of data management services. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $97,000 and $138,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
