A degree from a university with an excellent academic record
Previous experience within a top-tier investment bank and in a similar/related business area
Experience in leading High Yield Bond and/or Term Loan B transactions
Solid understanding of the transaction process from end-to-end and understanding of the internal mechanisms of the organization
Analytical mind-set with good awareness of credit and capital market risks
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Client focused and result-driven working style
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Full professional fluency in English and German

Actively contributing to the origination of LBOs, refinancing, recap and other event driven financing deals for Leveraged Finance clients (Sponsor and Corporate) across debt products (HYB / TLB / bank debt)
Developing and maintaining a network of clients and other relevant external (e.g. lawyers and advisors) and internal (e.g. Advisory, Industry Group, ECM, Coverage, FSCG, Syndicate, Rating Advisory and Risk) stakeholders
Leading and coordinating the day-to-day execution of Leveraged Finance deals, including both TLB and HYB mandates, from inception to closing
Leading pitch processes from start to finish, in cooperation with various teams across the bank (Coverage, M&A, ECM, Syndicate)
Supervising the internal credit approval process, from due diligence review / credit memo write-up to final approval
Supporting the overall Leveraged Finance franchise, fostering a positive team spirit and collaboration / fertilisation across teams and countries and actively contributing to transversal projects
Giving support and guidance to more junior team members
