VICE PRESIDENT, EXTERNALS, are responsible for communicating with the multiple parties involved with the creation of our projects. This includes (but not limited to) faculty staff, student body, Artona, and publishers. They will also monitor and stay updated on the events that CUS clubs and services host throughout the year. \n Time Commitment 4-6 hr/week Term of Employment June 2026 - May 2027 Main Responsibilities Serve as a point of contact for CUS clubs, services, and staff Monitor clubs and services throughout the year to stay updated with events and important dates; reach out for photographs, descriptions, and other information Actively check communication channels to ensure internal and external communication from the team and stakeholders Support VP Digital Designs in projects as needed, reporting every week Work with VP Marketing for collaboration and student engagement ideas Qualifications Strong time management and organization skills Ability to maintain professional contact with external parties Experience in project management is an asset Ability to independently carry out projects from start to finish Excellent written and oral communication Anticipated Learning Outcomes VICE PRESIDENTS, EXTERNAL AFFAIRS should be able to expand their network among CUS clubs and services and UBC Sauder faculty throughout their term. As VICE PRESIDENTS, EXTERNAL AFFAIRS, incumbents will also be able to strengthen interpersonal skills.
