We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, External Reporting to join our Finance Controllers - COE Product Accounting Global Markets FX and Corporate Treasury. This role is located in Pune, Maharashtra (HYBRID). In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Manage the financial control environment for Fixed Income and Equities derivatives trading and brokerage business Oversee the daily FI&EQ derivative P&L production including P&L validation, analytical review and investigation of Flash (Traders) vs Actual (Finance) P&L, commentary and sign-off Govern the daily controls and month end close process, including review of daily SOX controls, independent price valuations, manual journal entries, Balance sheet accounts reconciliations, monitoring and resolving on-going issues Work closely with Front office, technology, operations and extended Finance teams to ensure timely issues management, development and enhancements to the existing process Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation and analysis. Ensure the accounting processes are robust, efficient, and well controlled Work closely with the global process SMEs and overseas partners for the ongoing initiatives and provide support as required Contribute to project and process improvement initiatives as required. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in reporting and control processes. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8 to 10 post qualification Product Control function experience Deep understanding of Fixed Income and Equities derivative products Exposure to Front, Back Office and Financial systems used for Fixed Income and Derivatives trading Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Highly self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of reviewing critical work independently.
