We don’t want you to live to work, we want you to work and live.   What you can expect as the Vice President / General Manager at West Star: The Vice President / General Manager serves as the senior executive responsible for the performance, culture, and long-term strategic direction of a major aerospace MRO site. This role holds full accountability for operational excellence, financial results, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and the development of a high-performing, safety-driven organization.   You will be essential to many functions including: * Lead and execute the site’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with enterprise growth goals and continuously improving operational performance.  * Drive profitable growth through disciplined P&L management, operational efficiency, commercial execution, and margin expansion.  * Champion a world-class safety and quality culture, ensuring a safe and thriving operation that complies with all regulatory requirements and adherence to industry best practices.  * Build, develop, and lead a high-performing senior leadership team across operations, quality, engineering, supply chain, program management, finance, and HR.  * Strengthen customer relationships and deliver exceptional service which meets or exceeds service standards   * Advance operational capability through facility modernization, capacity planning, and investment in people, processes, and technology.   * Ensure staffing ratios are appropriately balanced and organized to achieve the company’s strategy  * Build and nurture a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement that aligns with the company’s vision, mission and values  * Represent the company with airport authorities, community stakeholders, and industry partners.  Qualifications Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or Business; advanced degree preferred. · 10+ years of senior leadership experience in aerospace MRO or similarly complex, regulated operations, including full P&L responsibility.   Other Requirements · Stay customer focused – building strong relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. · Execute strategy– seeing ahead to future opportunities and translating them actionable strategic plans · Strong financial acumen – review and drive financial results / KPIs to make more informed business decisions · Drive accountability- holding self and others accountable to meet goals · Communicate effectively- develop and deliver multi-mode communications delivering a clear message to different audiences · Values differences – recognizing the value that different perspectives and culture brings to the organization · Balances stakeholders – anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
