JOB DESCRIPTION

Health Network One partners with health plans and providers to modernize how specialty care is delivered and managed, reducing complexity, driving better performance, and improving lives.
With over 30 years of experience, Health Network One advances care in several unique specialties: eye care, skin health, outpatient therapy, and more. By curating specialty networks and credentialing providers who meet rigorous access and quality standards, we bring together value-based models and clinical expertise to ensure providers thrive, payers succeed, and members receive the high-quality care they deserve.
The Vice President, Health Economics, Outcomes & Business Intelligence will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of data analytics strategies to drive performance, efficiency, and profitability. This role will be responsible for developing enterprise-level dashboards using Power BI, interpreting and communicating medical economics insights, and partnering with finance and actuarial teams to support pricing strategies and underwriting models in value-based care arrangements.
The VP will act as a strategic leader and hands-on technical expert, bridging clinical, financial, and operational data to inform business decisions across the enterprise.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Health Economics, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or medical economics.
  • 5+ years in a leadership or executive role, preferably in managed care, health plans, or population health organizations.
  • Deep understanding of value-based payment models, capitation, shared savings, and risk adjustment methodologies.
  • Proven experience supporting pricing, underwriting, or actuarial functions.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Expert-level Power BI development skills (DAX, M, data modeling).
  • Strong SQL proficiency; experience working with large healthcare datasets (e.g., claims, EHR, HEDIS, risk adjustment).
  • Familiarity with Python/R or other statistical tools a plus.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms (PowerBI, Azure, Snowflake, etc.).

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Executive presence and the ability to clearly communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative, with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of healthcare finance and regulatory requirements.
