  • Serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on human capital, organizational culture, and change-related matters.
  • Overseeing the full scope of HR operations, including talent acquisition, skills development, total compensation, labor relations, occupational health and safety, as well as equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Leading change management and organizational transformation initiatives that support growth and agility.
  • Managing major HR projects related to business expansion, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
  • Designing and implementing leadership development, succession planning, and performance management programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and applying best practices in HR governance across both provincial and federal jurisdictions.
  • Promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU BRING:

  • A university degree in human resources management, industrial relations, or a related field.
  • 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in human resources, including 3 to 5 years in a senior strategic leadership role.
  • A strong background in organizational transformation, health and safety culture, and change management.
  • Familiarity with the realities of sectors such as retail, transportation, distribution, or similarly complex operational environments.
