JOB PURPOSE Ensure that all interior designs are in line with the development’s value proposition and meet the project vision ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee all design activities for interior design efforts and manage the various stages of the interior design process Manage all interior design consultants on a day-to-day basis to ensure that all drawing submittals are in line with the ALDAR specifications, that interior designs and technical drawings will be carried out appropriately and aligned with the approved designs Select material in accordance with project team and consultants and ensure adherence to standards Monitor drawing reviews and follow-up with project teams to monitor that implementation efforts are aligned with technical drawings Conduct site visits and collaborate with project teams to identify and flag interior design issues and possible ideas to cut costs/time Liaise with Development & Portfolio Management to reflect any design changes on forecast Support the project team in solving interior design implementation technical issues by attending coordination meetings, proposing and validating viable technical workarounds and ensuring their implementation Provide input to ICP gateway RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE Min of 8+ years of experience in real estate interior design YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION Min of 4+ years in a managerial position SECTOR EXPERIENCE Retail estate sector, construction TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS Deep exposure to GCC region and adjacent markets preferred Demonstrated track record in real estate developments Excellent design capabilities, conflict resolution/management skills Strong team player with ability to balance conflicting priorities and take timely decisions Excellent analytical skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required to present interior designs to senior leaders for approval Experienced in working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams that include members from Business Planning, Master Planning, Design, Project Management, Procurement and Commercial functions. QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture is required Technical post-graduate degree is prefer \n \n
