Task Responsibilities Leading the management of the operational activities: * Manage the transportation management activities. * Manage the export and import activities. * Manage the warehouse control activities. * Manage the load planning and load supervision activities. * Manage the relationship with LCH (Ground Handling Agent). Leading the management of Operational Safety and Compliance:  * Acting as the focal point for safety, security, and compliance activities.  * Ensuring hub ground operations adhere to CARE and Just Culture policy.  * Documenting and archiving processes, and continuously improving safety and compliance.  * Maintaining professional knowledge and participating in IT and infrastructure improvement projects.  Leading the management of Operational Quality and Efficiency:  * Focusing on operational excellence and efficiency.  * Enhancing hub business processes for efficient service delivery.  * Collaborating with the LCH (Ground Handling Agent) for process implementation and maintenance.  * Managing staff and focusing on performance metrics to ensure hub effectiveness.  Leading the management of Operational Finance and Administration:  * Managing operational finance, controlling expenditures, and cost management.  * Analyzing budget forecasts and aligning with LCH (Ground Handling Agent) on cost-effective strategies.  * Ensuring efficient financial and operational performance, including staffing levels.  People Responsibilities:  * Overseeing staff reporting directly and indirectly.  * Decision-making authority within budget and legal limits on staffing matters.  * Responsible for goal setting, appraisals, career planning, training, and disciplinary measures for direct reports.  Budget planning / revenue & cost control:   * Budget planning responsibility, including preparation and approval of divisional/departmental budgets   Essential Requirements * Master’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or relevant work experience.   * Minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a multinational company.  * People management experience.  * In-depth knowledge of key airline ground handling processes and current best practices will be considered a significant advantage.  * Strong ability to design and manage integrated logistic networks.  * Demonstrated ability to implement standards and compliance programs effectively.  * Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering required results in a timely manner.  * Strong team player, able to effectively and proactively function in a dynamic organization.  * Ability to independently identify issues, take ownership, and deliver solutions by utilizing all available resources.  * International, cross-functional, and intercultural experience is essential.  * Service-minded with a global perspective.  * Strong investigational capabilities.  * Strong analytical and fact-based problem-solving skills. Ability to visualize facts/thoughts effectively.  * Proven knowledge and experience with Transportation Management IT systems, Warehouse Management Systems, and Logistics Management Systems in general.  * Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Proficiency in French will be considered an advantage for interactions with LCH (Ground Handling Agent). * Excellent communication skills, applicable across cultural boundaries and with all management levels.    Working Conditions * Position based in Luxembourg * Full time position * A certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection * Business travel may be required (entire CV Network) * Application deadline: 30 June 2026
