**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Vice President, Middle Office Manager plays a pivotal role in the Accounting Services function, providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure the efficient management and processing of all middle office activities. The Vice President, Middle Office Manager is responsible for managing a team, implementing best practices in processing and reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Lead and manage the middle office team by demonstrating expertise in accounting services and fostering a culture of operational excellence. - Develop and implement processes and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency in service delivery, aligning with BNY's strategic objectives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings and drive innovation in accounting practices. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards. - Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and business growth. - Foster an environment of continuous learning and development, encouraging team members to advance their skills and knowledge. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Advanced qualifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** - Typically 10 plus years of experience with 2-3 years of managememt experience preferred. **SKILLS:** - Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on developing talent. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders.
