QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in technical sales, solutions consulting, or pre-sales engineering—preferably within cybersecurity or managed services
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity domains including SOC, SIEM, EDR, threat detection, firewalls, and compliance frameworks
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with leading security platforms such as Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Splunk, or Google Security Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and lead enterprise sales cycles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Business Development to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth for our cybersecurity services. This is a SALES and Business development ROLE focusing on expanding DCube’s market presence and will lead the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation and solution scoping to closing and post-sale engagement.
You will engage directly with C-level executives, IT leaders, and security teams to position DCube’s MSSP offerings, understand client security requirements, and align solutions accordingly. This position will require close collaboration with internal technical and delivery teams and may occasionally engage with our global Security Operations Center (SOC) teams across time zones.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a trusted advisor and security advocate for clients—their protection is our mission
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process including prospecting, discovery, solution alignment, proposal development, and deal closure
  • Engage with CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, and security stakeholders to identify cybersecurity pain points and position DCube’s solutions
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and delivery teams to define optimal service offerings for each client
  • Conduct compelling product demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical presentations
  • Support responses to RFPs, RFIs, and detailed security questionnaires
  • Contribute to marketing efforts and thought leadership, including refining collateral and shaping messaging based on client feedback
  • Drive cross-selling initiatives across DCube’s service lines
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management through CRM systems
  • Manage client invoicing, collections, and ongoing account relationships
  • Stay up to date on security trends, technologies, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, SOC 2, HIPAA)
