SAN FRANCISCO

The Vice President of Enrollment Management provides strategic leadership for student recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and enrollment planning. This includes developing and executing a strategic, data-informed enrollment management plan with clear goals and aligned financial aid strategies. Highly skilled in data analysis and resource planning, the VP uses evidence-based decision-making to guide institutional growth.

As a key member of the President’s Cabinet and Senior Leadership Team, the VP plays a vital role in shaping the College’s strategic direction and vision for student growth. This position also oversees Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Records, and Enrollment Operations, and serves as a cross-functional leader who fosters strong partnerships across the institution. Above all, this role requires a steady, values-driven leader who brings clarity, integrity, and the ability to engage and align teams around a shared purpose.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Thorough understanding of enrollment and retention trends in higher education, and demonstrated knowledge of marketing and outreach principles, strategies, and techniques
  • Innovative and strategic, a proven and effective leader with demonstrated experience piloting new enrollment and financial aid initiatives
  • Ability to share your vision and ensure that your division and the senior leadership team understand and support your vision.
  • Skill in program planning, examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures in higher education.
  • Collaborative leadership style and demonstrated management abilities to develop staff and effective teams; ability to develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with senior leadership peers, while also effectively influencing peers and the President to take action, when appropriate.
  • Advanced analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills, and proven data-driven decision making skills
  • Deep understanding of state and federal financial aid regulations
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills (written and verbal) and the ability to interact and work effectively with administrators, academic leadership, faculty, students, and members of the community at large; strong presentation skills
  • Familiarity with and ability to apply technological innovations to enrollment office management and office operations; experience using CRM and integrated data systems.
