POSITION SUMMARY

Alamo Trust, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of External Affairs to lead its communications, public relations, community engagement, government relations, and membership initiatives. This role will serve as the public face of the organization, working closely with stakeholders across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to promote the Alamos mission and impact.

QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in public relations, external affairs, or a related field.
Proven experience as a spokesperson and leader in communications and public engagement. Demonstrated success in organizing large-scale public events and building strategic partnerships.
Deep understanding of crisis communication strategies.
Strong relationships within the government and media sectors are highly valued.
A graduate degree in communications, public affairs, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of the San Antonio community and its stakeholders is strongly preferred.
