QUALIFICATIONS:

• Vocational Training Program or Trade Certification(s) Preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five (5) years supervisory experience in a maintenance or construction related field.
• Minimum ten (10) years employment history in general maintenance - plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, grounds, computer, vehicle repair, etc.
• Working knowledge and experience involved in maintenance related regulations for CARF, Department of Human Services, Labor & Industry, OSHA, Pennsylvania Department of Education, and Fire & Safety regulations
• Good written and verbal communication skills including the reading of building/project blueprints.
• Must have the capacity to grasp and adjust to new and changing situations.
• Must be proficient in Google Business and Microsoft Office
• Must be able to adjust hours to job requirements.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Access to a telephone. Must be reachable by telephone.
• Must have acceptable PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Clearance.
• Must be able to identify with the agency Mission Statement and support the agency’s Core Values.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Manual dexterity and ability to work under pressure.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be capable of standing on feet for 7-8 hours at a time.
