Description GFO Home is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance. The role will serve on GFO Home’s Executive Team and be the senior ranking Finance position within the company. This pivotal position requires a leader who embodies integrity, leadership, and has the executive presence and experience necessary to lead this business-critical work group. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee the entire Finance Department, including: Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and the owner’s Family Office Controller Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports to the CEO, COO, and other key leadership, ensuring timely and accurate completion of close every month Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimize working capital Manage capital structure, including debt and equity financing, and evaluate investment opportunities Maintain effective communication with ownership, lenders, and other financial stakeholders. Maintain robust and productive banking and insurance relationships that give GFO Home a competitive advantage Requirements Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the homebuilding industry Proven experience in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Strong understanding of land and lot acquisition and development financing Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
