Description Jet Health, Inc is seeking a highly analytical, hands-on VP of Finance to lead day-to-day financial operations across a multi-state healthcare platform. This individual will be tasked with building the financial engine, driving performance and owning the details. This is not a “sit back and review” role. We are seeking a hands-on builder and operator who thrives in the data, imposes structure on complexity, and converts financial and operational information into clear, actionable insights. You will partner closely with the CFO and CEO to drive financial discipline, visibility, and performance, while directly owning accounting, cash management, and KPI reporting across the organization. This position must also work closely with our frontline site Executive Directors to educate and coach, driving high performing outcomes across three (3) business lines (Personal Care, Home Health and Hospice) in four (4) states. Must be within a commutable range of the Fort Worth, TX corporate office. Requirements What You’ll Own Financial Operations Own month-end close, consolidations, and financial reporting across multiple business lines and entities Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all financials Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness KPI & Performance Reporting Build and deliver weekly KPI dashboards (census, labor, payer mix, margin by location) Translate large, complex datasets into clear insights for operational leaders Drive accountability across field leadership through data transparency Cash & Treasury Management Own daily cash visibility and liquidity management Build and maintain a rolling 13-week cash forecast Manage working capital, vendor payments, and banking relationships Partner with CFO on LOC utilization and capital planning Data & Systems Integration Integrate and reconcile data across EMR, payroll, and financial systems Build scalable reporting infrastructure across platforms Leverage advanced Excel (pivot models, Power Query) and tools like Tableau Healthcare Financial Insight Analyze labor utilization, reimbursement, and cost structures Support Medicare/Medicaid reporting and reimbursement analytics Partner with operations to improve margin and efficiencies to drive EBITDA targets Team Leadership Lead a lean team including but not limited to AP Clerk and Senior Accountant Set high standards for execution, accuracy, and accountability What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months) KPI dashboards are live, trusted, and used daily &/or weekly across leadership Cash forecasting is accurate, proactive, and driving decisions Month-end close is timely, efficient, accurate, and consistent Clear visibility into profitability by location, payer, and service line Reporting is integrated across EMR, payroll, and GL systems Identified and executed on meaningful margin improvement opportunities What We’re Looking For 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience Proven hands-on Controller or VP Finance experience in a multi-entity environment Advanced Excel expertise (complex pivots, large datasets, data modeling) Experience building KPIs and operational reporting from raw data Strong understanding of cash management and treasury operations Experience integrating data across multiple systems Strongly Preferred: Healthcare experience (home health, hospice, or multi-site services) with strong understanding of both government and managed care reimbursement and l Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Homecare Homebase) and payroll platforms Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar analytics tools Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth environment Reporting Structure Reports to: Chief Financial Officer Works closely with: CEO and Operational Leadership Views site Executive leaders as customers and partners Why This Role Direct impact on company performance and growth High visibility with executive leadership Opportunity to build systems and infrastructure the right way Mission-driven organization serving patients and families daily What we offer Competitive pay + full benefits Medical, dental, vision 401(k) Company paid life insurance PTO + paid holidays Discretionary annual incentive plan Professional development opportunities A supportive, mission-driven culture focused on teamwork and compassion
