POSITION OVERVIEW

The VP of Global Pet Brands will report to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and will be accountable for nurturing and growing market-leading brands in the Pet end markets that drive customer excitement and loyalty. Specifically, this individual is required to be a market (i.e., competitors and customers), brand, and product expert leading brand positioning, brand marketing, and catalogue management for the Pet categories at Nexus Brands Group.
This role is responsible for budget-setting and managing end-to-end performance across wholesale, tradeshows, phones, retail, and van sales channels. While the Global Digital Commerce (“GDC”) team is responsible for budget-setting and managing end-to-end performance within the eCommerce and Amazon channels, this role will partner closely with the GDC team and provide market insights to inform forecasting and execution. For eCommerce and Amazon, the VP of Global Pet Brands is responsible for creating market-leading brands that pull customers in, while the GDC team is responsible for setting budgets and pushing the tactics and execution to deliver on them.
As Nexus is a global organization, this position will lead a worldwide team and requires a thorough understanding of industry and category dynamics across various geographic markets. Providing leadership, visibility, and support across all regions is crucial.
