Description Life Care Home Health and Hospice Family is seeking a Vice President of Operations for our Texas Region. General Summary: Under the direction of the CEO, this position is responsible for ensuring State and Federal regulatory compliance in agency and branch policies and practices. This position provides education and tools to ensure the provision of safe and effective patient care. Clinical Oversight: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate hospice care to patients and their families, aligning with clinical best practices and regulatory compliance. Monitoring patient care plans, quality metrics, and clinical outcomes. Overseeing the clinical staff, including nurses, social workers, chaplains, and aides, ensuring proper training and competency. Operational Management: Managing day-to-day hospice operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness Overseeing budget management, financial reporting, and cost control within the hospice program Business Development: Identifying and developing new business opportunities to expand hospice services within the community Building relationships with referral sources, including healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations Leading marketing and outreach initiatives to promote hospice services Requirements Experience: Extensive experience in hospice care, including clinical leadership roles Proven track record of successful operational management and business development in a healthcare setting Deep understanding of hospice regulations and compliance requirements Excellent leadership and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred. Master's degree in nursing (MSN), healthcare administration, or a related field Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse Preferred
