Jones Networking is recruiting for a VP of Marketing to join the corporate office of a global manufacturing company based in Sterling, VA. This senior level career opportunity is responsible for overseeing and guiding the overall marketing strategy and efforts of the organization. VP OF MARKETING POSITION SUMMARY:

-Collaborate closely with the Sales Team and other Division Managers to ensure that marketing initiatives align with the company’s goals and objectives.
-Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the company’s products and services.
-Set marketing goals and objectives in alignment with the company’s overall strategic plan.
-Lead and manage the marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance.
-Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
-Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of marketing staff.
-Maintain and enhance the company’s brand, image and reputation.
-Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels and materials.
-Develop and implement brand positioning strategies to differentiate the company in the market.
-Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention.
-Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns to measure their effectiveness and ROI.
-Adjust and optimize marketing strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
-Monitor expenditures and ensure that marketing activities are cost-effective.
-Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
-Stay updated on the latest marketing tools and technologies to enhance marketing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
-Minimum five years of proven experience in an executive level marketing role, preferably as a Vice President of Marketing or similar position.
-Extensive experience in developing and executing marketing strategies across various channels.
-Strong background in brand management, digital marketing, and market research.
-CPG and/or retail branding marketing experience required.
-Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
-Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.
-Proficiency in marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, and automation tools.
