Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Marketing with proven experience in the industrial services industry to lead our marketing strategy and execution across all channels. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a powerful go-to-market strategy, building a brand that instills trust and drives customer conversion, and aligning closely with Sales and Operations to unlock growth opportunities.
The Vice President of Marketing will also play a pivotal role in supporting M&A activity, evaluating market opportunities and ensuring brand and operational scalability through expansion. Experience in digital marketing, partner marketing, traditional marketing, and executive-level reporting is essential. Experience in SaaS or tech-driven solutions is a strong plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a holistic go-to-market strategy aligned with the company’s growth goals in the Oil & Gas/Industrial services market.
  • Establish and elevate a brand identity that fosters trust, credibility, and market authority.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to generate qualified opportunities, scale existing customer relationships, and support pipeline velocity through integrated campaigns.

Growth & M&A Enablement

  • Evaluate market potential for mergers & acquisitions, providing insights into brand scalability, geographic growth, and integration strategy.
  • Contribute to M&A due diligence with a focus on marketing and brand alignment, scalability, and opportunity mapping.
  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy that will directly feed the sales pipeline; MQL (Marketing Qualified Leads) ? SQL (Sales Qualified Leads)
  • Own the full customer lifecycle, including onboarding, satisfaction, and upsell/cross-sell marketing

Integrated Marketing and Sales Execution

  • Oversee execution across all marketing functions including:
  • Digital Marketing (SEM, SEO, Email, Retargeting, Web Optimization)
  • Traditional Marketing (Print, Trade Magazines, Etc.)
  • Partner & Channel Marketing
  • Public Relations & Corporate Communications
  • Event Management (Trade Shows, Thought Leadership, Customer Events)
  • CRM Strategy & Automation (Salesforce or equivalent)
  • Partner with Sales to create the tools necessary to ensure Sales team success, as well as ensure alignment between campaign execution, pipeline velocity, and revenue targets.
  • Partner with VP of Sales to track lead lifecycle metrics and ensure seamless handoffs and feedback loops. Work to increase pipeline health and efficiencies.

Brand and Recruiting Synergy

  • Position PROtect as a talent destination by integrating recruiting themes and EVP (Employee Value Proposition) into the brand strategy.
  • Ensure consistent and compelling messaging that supports employee engagement and culture.
  • Establish the company brand to be the go-to expert in the Risk & Compliance as well as the Reliability services of the industrial industry space through consistent branding and authority building content.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a key member of the executive team, contributing to strategic decisions beyond marketing.
  • Work together with Sales leadership to align GTM campaigns with sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure marketing initiatives support field success, market saturation, and customer satisfaction.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to marketing ROI, lead conversion, customer acquisition, and brand equity.
  • Deliver presentations and insights to the Board of Directors, investors, and executive leadership.
  • Measure marketing performance at every stage of the sale’s funnel, optimizing for CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV (Lifetime Value), and ROI.
