Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

JEVS Human Services is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Program Operations to lead a portfolio of residential services supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs. With oversight of a $25M budget, six direct reports, and a team of 200+ professionals, this leader will shape strategy, strengthen operations, and deliver high-quality, person-centered services that empower individuals to live with greater independence and dignity.
The Vice President will serve as a key division leader—driving innovation, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of collaboration across programs. This role is highly visible, requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for advocacy and partnership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead with Vision: Set a clear direction for residential services, mobilize staff around division goals, and represent JEVS at the local and state levels.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee Community Living Arrangements, Supported Independent Living, and Life Sharing programs serving 150 individuals annually.
  • Champion Quality & Outcomes: Use data, customer feedback, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and measurable results.
  • Build & Inspire Teams: Develop leaders, support a unionized workforce, and create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and recognition.
  • Ensure Fiscal Stewardship: Manage multi-source funding, oversee budgets, and work with Finance and Advancement teams to maintain sustainability and growth.
  • Strengthen Relationships: Build strong partnerships with funders, regulators, donors, and community stakeholders to advance JEVS’ mission and expand impact.
