POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to and under the general guidance of the CEO, the Vice President (VP) of Programs serves as a key member of the organization’s Executive team and is responsible for the oversight of outcomes, staff, and budget, and leadership of a range of teams focused on programmatic design and implementation. The VP is expected to be a highly collaborative and skilled leader experienced in nurturing and building high performing teams, designing high impact programs, and executing on key operational and strategic priorities. This includes proactively pursuing new funding opportunities to build long-term, sustainable programs that have a measurable impact in all communities we serve. In addition, this position will develop strategic departmental annual plans with KPIs and guide external relationships as it relates to business development and strategic partnerships with external partners including industry associations and other private sector related organizations. The VP will specifically oversee programs design, implementation and fundraising across both private and public sourced grants as well as those integrated with federal funding and will oversee multiple programmatic facing teams that support the design and execution of programs and fundraising including teams that interface with private sector and industry groups, targeted populations and education and training partners.
