About the Job We are partnered with a global consumer brand on the search for a VP of Sales – Amazon and Online Marketplaces. This executive role is responsible for owning and scaling the company’s performance across Amazon and other global online marketplaces. Reporting into senior executive leadership, this role carries full accountability for revenue growth, profitability, and market share across the company’s most critical digital commerce channels. The organization is at an inflection point and is seeking a leader who can bring greater rigor, integration, and commercial discipline to its marketplace strategy worldwide. The Mandate This organization is explicit about what it is—and is not—looking for. They are not seeking a channel manager who focuses solely on account maintenance or short-term promotional tactics to drive volume. They are seeking a P&L-owning commercial operator who understands how pricing, retail media, content, inventory, and execution work together to drive sustained, profitable growth across Amazon and other online marketplaces. Key Responsibilities Own global sales strategy and P&L performance across Amazon and priority online marketplaces Lead revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion across US and international markets Develop and execute pricing, promotion, and assortment strategies aligned with margin and brand objectives Partner closely with Marketing on retail media, content, and traffic-driving initiatives Collaborate with Product, Supply Chain, and Finance on forecasting, inventory health, and launch readiness Establish disciplined operating rhythms, forecasting accuracy, and performance metrics Build, lead, and scale a high-performing global marketplaces sales organization Serve as a senior commercial voice to executive leadership on marketplace strategy, risks, and opportunities Ideal Profile Senior sales or commercial leader with deep expertise in Amazon and online marketplaces Proven experience owning large-scale Amazon or marketplace P&Ls Strong command of Vendor Central, Seller Central, and hybrid operating models Experience operating across multiple global marketplaces (e.g., Amazon US & International, regional platforms) Deep understanding of pricing, promotions, retail media, and contribution margin Commercially grounded, analytical, and execution-focused Comfortable operating cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance Location & Work Model Los Angeles area Hybrid schedule: 2+ days onsite/week Interested?
