The Vice President of Sales will provide executive leadership for the sales organization of a national senior living operator and developer, overseeing $350M+ in annual revenue and a robust development pipeline. Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead the strategic planning, direction, and coordination of sales programs, policies, and personnel. • Develop and drive sales objectives across all senior living communities. • Directly manage and oversee regional sales staff. • Inspire, motivate, and hold team members accountable for high performance. • Provide ongoing sales training to support goal achievement and exceed expectations. • Establish performance standards and continuously enhance metrics by integrating current technologies, techniques, and best practices. • Collaborate with the executive team to develop marketing plans, analyze market data, and implement cost-effective strategies. • Oversee pre-opening sales and marketing efforts for communities under construction and development. • In partnership with other stakeholders, manage customer relationship management (CRM), ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and analysis to optimize sales outcomes. • Regularly analyze sales data and efforts to assess performance and drive improvements. • Identify challenges and implement swift corrective actions. • Uphold the company’s mission to create and maintain distinctive, service-enriched senior housing environments. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and leverage insights to drive strategic planning and actionable outcomes. Regularly review and take appropriate action based on weekly and monthly reports as needed. • Requires local and overnight travel throughout all communities or business-related locations. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Willingness to cover Arizona and travel to our East coast communities Willingness to work from one of our communities for 3 days per week. Arizona market Excellent verbal, problem-solving, and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable with ambiguity; can extract relevant components from complex situations to connect the dots, make sound decisions, and work with minimal direction. Understand the overall organizational structure and make recommendations as business needs evolve. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent and regular attendance. Proficient with Microsoft Office, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and other business-related software. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5 years minimum regional experience Experience managing 10 communities at a minimum Coaching and training Entrance fee and/or start up experience Proven work experience as a sales director or another senior role, with ten years of sales management and leadership experience. Demonstrated success in sales within the hospitality, real estate, or healthcare industries, with a preference for experience working with seniors.
