POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a highly driven Vice President of Software Development to lead our growing development team and execute on the company’s product and technology roadmap. This executive role is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of scalable software products, while driving excellence in engineering practices, architecture, and team development.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic leader with a strong background in modern web technologies, including Angular, .NET, Azure, and third-party system integrations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 5+ years in a senior management or executive leadership role.
• Proven experience in:
• Frontend: Angular or similar JS frameworks
• Backend: .NET, C#, RESTful APIs
• Cloud Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure
• CMS and Codebase Management
• Third-party integrations (CRM, PMS, analytics, payment platforms)
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, secure software development, CI/CD, and version control systems.
• Experience managing distributed or hybrid teams, ideally across U.S. and offshore locations.
• Demonstrated success in scaling software platforms and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

• Translate product requirements and business goals into scalable, actionable development plans.
• Provide strategic oversight for software engineering, ensuring alignment with product vision, timelines, and overall business goals.
• Guide architecture decisions, ensuring maintainability, security, and performance across all TrueOmni solutions.
• Drive the technical aspects of the product roadmap in close partnership with Product, Infrastructure, and Executive teams.
