JOB SUMMARY:

The VP of Technology Solutions & Architecture will drive the architectural vision, lead our IT strategy innovation, digital transformation initiatives and solution delivery across our enterprise. This role requires a deep understanding of technology trends, software architecture, cloud technologies, business acumen, and leadership skills to drive operational excellence, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of scalable, high-performance solutions with a cybersecurity focus that align IT capabilities with corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader in the industry, fostering innovation within a culture of agility, collaboration, and technological advancement delivery best practices across the entire enterprise.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT solution architecture, software development, or enterprise architecture roles.
  • 5+ years in IT leadership capacity, guiding technical teams and influencing enterprise-level decisions.
  • Proven track record of leading digital transformation and IT modernization initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Expertise in cloud computing, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
  • Proficiency in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, APIs, containerization, and serverless computing.
  • Deep knowledge of security best practices, networking, and data management principles.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to drive digital transformation and lead large-scale IT initiatives.
  • Ability to drive innovation while ensuring operational resilience and business continuity.

Preferred Education/Experience/Certifications:

  • Certification in cloud architecture (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.).
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutions.
  • Background in large-scale IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, IT service management frameworks, and AI/ML.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive innovation by staying up to date with emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability.
  • Establish and maintain architectural governance frameworks, processes, and guidelines.
  • Facilitate architectural reviews and provide expert guidance on technical decisions.
  • Mentor and coach teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
  • Advocate for DevOps, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) best practices.
  • Manage technical risks and ensure the long-term sustainability of technology investments.

EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use technical leadership and strategic direction to create and build an enterprise IT team starting from the ground floor.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee IT operations, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability of enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to drive innovation and competitive advantage through technology.
