Objective of the Position: This position oversees company operations to ensure operational efficiency, quality, service and cost effective management of resources. This position provides leadership in developing and executing a strategic plan to advance the company’s mission and objectives and to promote revenue growth, profitability and growth as an organization.  Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that * Oversee all plant operations to ensure efficiencies in all areas of the business including: Continuous Improvement, Customers, Engineering, Environmental, Finance, Launches, Legal, Logistics, People, Production, Quality and Safety * Evaluate and guide plant leadership ensuring compliance and standardization of processes at all plants.  * Develop short and long-term strategy and tactics for manufacturing operations. * Makes cost and investment decisions related to plant operations to grow or maintain business.  * Develop large scale operations investment recommendation for Germany. * Manage advanced manufacturing planning and launch support including creation and upkeep of BOM and routings for production parts.  * Manages process development for quoting new business.  * Approves of capital equipment and tooling procurement for EETAM. * Review and approve direct activities reports and financial statements to determine progress in achieving objectives as well as revising objectives to match current conditions.  * Resource planning, budgeting and monitoring to assure alignment with business strategies and tactics. * Take on special projects as assigned by upper management. Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that * Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements. * Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements. * Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all EETAM polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality. * Other duties as assigned. Requirement Profile: Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience: * Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Engineering or closely related field. * Master’s degree (MBA) in business preferred * Minimum 10 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing. * Ability to travel domestically by car or plane. * To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office. * Excellent knowledge of implementing, maintaining and driving improvements. * Minimum eight years’ management experience with proven ability to build and grow a team * Knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to manage arising issues to maintain the highest grades from our customers. * Possess the ability to drive improvements and change at the same time mentoring and growing our most valuable resource, our employees. Technical Expertise: * Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.  * Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.  * Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence. * Analytical- Synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures. * Business Acumen- Understands business implications of decisions. * Knowledge of continuous improvement of products for manufacturability. * Knowledge of engineering fundaments, mechanical systems, automotive systems, and exhaust systems. * Knowledge of federal and state regulations.  * Project Management- Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities.
