POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Vice President of Permitting to join our senior leadership team. In this role, you’ll lead and scale our permitting operations nationwide, ensuring the strategic delivery of services to premier clients across commercial real estate, healthcare, life sciences, and development sectors. You’ll work closely with internal departments, municipal agencies, and executive stakeholders to drive compliance excellence, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all permitting operations across multiple jurisdictions and service lines.
  • Responsible for supporting the growth of the backlog and delivering monthly revenue targets.
  • Manage and mentor regional permitting directors and senior staff; foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and growth.
  • Partner with business development and client services teams to support strategic pursuits and expand market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, city agencies, and key partners to ensure efficient, compliant project delivery.
  • Develop and drive process improvements and implement scalable solutions for permitting workflows, timelines, and quality assurance.
  • Monitor evolving municipal and regulatory landscapes; ensure team alignment with jurisdictional codes, agency requirements, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to organizational growth planning, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation in service offerings.
