National Role | Fixed-term (~3 years) | Remote Hybrid with travel
Our client has a rare opportunity to lead a national, multi-stakeholder workforce initiative spanning trucking, rail, marine/ports, air cargo, and logistics.
Recently announced earlier this month, the Vice President, Transportation & Supply Chain Workforce Alliance role is ideal for a senior supply chain or transportation leader who knows how to bring diverse stakeholders together, build alignment across competing priorities, and convert strategy into practical outcomes. In this newly created role, your will collaborate closely with industry employers, labour, training partners, and government to help shape workforce solutions for Canada’s transportation and supply chain ecosystem.
The Alliance brings together employers, educators, labour organizations, Indigenous partners and others to identify workforce challenges and develop coordinated solutions.
It will support initiatives to strengthen skills development, attract new talent, adapt to new technology and improve collaboration across the sector.
The Alliance unites Canada’s trucking, air cargo, marine, and rail sectors, creating an unprecedented forum for collaboration on the workforce challenges affecting the country’s transportation and supply chain system.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a highly visible national initiative with real sector impact. It’s an excellent fit for someone who wants to use their network, credibility, and operating experience to move an important agenda forward.
To apply, kindly share your CV including a brief note outlining your most relevant stakeholder leadership experience and compensation expectations.
