We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Relationship Manager to join our Global Payments & Trade (GP&T) Taiwan team. This role is located in Taiwan (Taipei). This role is responsible for client coverage across Financial Institutions (FI), including banks and non‑bank financial institutions (NBFIs). The successful candidate will lead relationship management, drive business development, and coordinate cross‑functional support to deliver tailored transaction banking solutions. The role also partners with regional and global teams to coordinate GP&T coverage for clients’ overseas branches. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:  Client Obsession * Build long‑term, trusted client relationships through a deep understanding of client operations, transaction banking needs, and Global Clearing requirements. * Ensure sustained client engagement by continually assessing client needs and supporting digital transformation initiatives. * Act as the primary client advocate within the firm, ensuring a seamless One BNY experience. * Monitor onboarding progress and service levels. * Address client issues promptly in coordination with internal partners. * Communicate product, regulatory, and market updates. Business Strategy * Develop and execute client‑centric relationship strategies aligned with GP&T growth objectives. * Contribute to APAC strategy through local market insights. * Optimize portfolio management with global stakeholders. * Partner with global teams on onboarding, service, and revenue ramp‑up. Sales & Business Development * Drive cross‑sell of GP&T products including Global Clearing, payments, FX, liquidity, and trade solutions. * Support RFPs and client presentations. * Deliver innovative solutions to meet evolving client needs. KYC & Risk Management * Lead and support KYC/AML reviews. * Ensure compliance with regulatory standards. * Partner with Risk, Legal, and Compliance. Data & Performance Management * Leverage analytics to identify opportunities and risks. * Track relationship strategy and revenue performance. * Support onboarding and governance through data insights.   To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:  * Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. * 5–10 years of banking or financial services experience. * Strong transaction banking and FI relationship management experience. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Bilingual English and Mandarin proficiency required.
