• Promote good relationship with customers or other business connections, and strive to establish foundations for achieving higher performance

• Responsible for establishing and promoting a bank-wide cooperative business framework, while overseeing and continuously improving the office’s overall administrative functions to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with strategic goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate degree from university
• At least 5-7 years of experience of relevant experience in corporate banking space
• Exhibits strategic and creative thinking to define clear goals, set priorities, and establish performance benchmarks. Applies analytical rigor to derive Pareto-optimal solutions that balance profitability with resource efficiency, while driving sustainable business growth and operational effectiveness
• Demonstrates the ability to manage change effectively while building and nurturing strong relationships across all levels of the organization to support collaboration and drive successful outcomes.
• Strong numerical and financial skills with the ability to interpret financial information and able to design and use financial models
• Demonstrates strong planning and organizational capabilities, effective time management, and an analytical mindset to support efficient process implementation and operational excellence
• Fosters a compliance-first culture within the team, ensuring consistent adherence to established risk and regulatory frameworks in all aspects of operations
• Demonstrates deep expertise in the bank’s risk landscape and regulatory framework, with a strong appreciation of the inherent risks involved in achieving business objectives. Ensures informed decision-making and robust compliance across all operational activities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese is a must as this individual will engage Japanese corporate clients, delivering presentations, preparing reports, and interpreting financial statements in Japanese
