As Vice-President of Sales for nVent SCHROFF, you will lead the development and implementation of the European & IMEA Sales Strategy, ensuring alignment with global priorities and creating a detailed business plan. You will coordinate and mentor a diverse team of 50+ employees, encouraging a collaborative environment, while driving performance. The role will involve approx 40-50% traveling time.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Sales Achievement : Drive sales growth by achieving sales quotas with key accounts through direct and distribution channels.
  • Go-To-Market Strategy : Define and optimize the Go-To-Market strategy, including the mix of representative agencies, channel strategy, and key account strategy.
  • Channel Strategy Management : Lead the European and IMEA channel strategy working with the Strategic Distribution team and engaging with senior management of key distributors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Ensure cross-functional teamwork with global product category teams, marketing, customer care, pricing, global account, and operations teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Vertical Marketing: Work with the vertical marketing team to roll out sales strategies developed for growth
  • Sales Excellence : Ensure excellence in key sales activity by establishing regular business review cadences to ensure forecast accuracy and predictability of business results.
  • Business Updates : Provide regular business updates, including bowling charts, forecasts, and scorecards, to senior management.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative team approach with open communication, problem identification, and resolution!
  • Knowledge Sharing : Will enhance technical depth, ensure adaptable operational support, and drive process improvements.
  • Sales Representatives : Conduct annual written performance reviews for all sales representatives and/or representative agencies.
  • Staffing Needs: Resolve staffing needs and schedules to support strategic plans.
