YOUR IMPACT

The Vice President, Strategic Accounts & Consortia Partnerships will be responsible for driving the growth and performance of Explora Journeys’ strategic travel agency accounts and consortia partnerships. This role is both strategic and relationship-focused, requiring a dynamic leader with deep industry connections, especially in the consortia space. This VP will craft and execute initiatives that strengthen loyalty, maximize revenue, and align our luxury brand with the values and goals of our strategic partners. The VP must execute in their role with a high level of collaboration, working with the VP Field Sales for NA. The position reports to the President NA.

Lead Consortia Relationships: Serve as the executive lead for all consortia partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and optimizing joint marketing, training, and sales initiatives.

  • Strategic Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of high-impact travel partner accounts, developing annual business plans and KPIs tailored to each partner’s potential.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead a high-performing team of strategic account managers / business relationship leads and experts. Set performance goals, provide coaching, and ensure results-driven execution.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Work cross-functionally with Field Sales, revenue management, trade marketing re: partner marketing plans with a focus on proven ROI from the actioned initiatives, and onboard experience teams to deliver integrated support and value to strategic accounts.
  • Contract Negotiations: Develop, negotiate, and manage consortia and agency agreements to ensure win-win terms that drive profitability and sustained engagement.
  • Data-Driven Insight: Monitor sales performance, analyze booking trends, and adjust strategies accordingly to exceed revenue goals.
  • Executive Presence: In tandem with the NA Commercial leadership, including Field Sales, represent Explora Journeys at consortia events, trade shows, and executive briefings with key industry stakeholders.
  • Innovation & Differentiation: Identify white space opportunities within the strategic account landscape and create bespoke programs that enhance our competitive position.

As we continue to expand and innovate, we seek a seasoned executive to lead our strategic accounts and consortia partnerships to new heights. This is a newly created position requiring 3 days / week in our brand-new offices in Miami, FL.
